吉林艺术学院在建校70周年校庆之际为贾涤非先生举办个人油画展，这是吉林艺术学院重视校友艺术业绩、营造校园文化气氛、拓展学术交流的重要举措。贾涤非先生从吉林艺术学院调入中央美术学院任教以来，为中央美院的油画教学不遗余力，培养了大批优秀人才，也为两校之间的艺术交流构架起一座沟通的桥梁。在这次展览举办之际，我谨代表中央美术学院表示热烈的祝贺！

　　中国油画在进入改革开放新时期以来，得到了多样发展的时代机遇，作为在这个时代成长起来的艺术家，贾涤非具有高远的艺术理想，那就是在弘扬传统的基础上锐意探索，坚持艺术思想的不断创新和艺术语言的个人建树。他在油画上的长期努力，形成了他鲜明的个性风格。从1980年代开始，他自觉突破传统的写实表达，以自己对世界和现实的洞察，创作了富有思想锋芒和表现锐气的作品。他的一大批表现都市人物状态的作品一经问世就引起了画坛的广泛关注，他从外部现实看到社会心理现实，以特别的视角审视纷繁的生活景观，展现无意识与意识流的心理景象，营造和构筑了一个类似于超现实的世界。在艺术语言上，他大胆突破传统常规，将现代因素与传统写意相结合，在人物造型上以娴熟的能力刻画众生世相，画面上充满强烈的矛盾性和冲撞性，从而传达了现代生活节奏的密度，为中国油画的表现性绘画开拓了一条充满个性的路径。

　　在对社会和现代都市主题进行表现时，贾涤非也没有忘记对于大自然乡土的眷恋，他在人物画创作之余画了大量的风景和静物。他笔下的风景多半是北方地区的景致，以朴素的乡村生态和日常的生活景象为主，在作品的取景布势之际，呈现出一种贴近大地、贴近自然的人文情怀，特别将北方景象中树木的繁茂之象、土地的浓厚之感以及空间的透朗之境表现出来，用拙朴的笔触和浓烈的色彩予以传达，成为与大自然的对话，具有非常直接的感受。同时他也于细微中感受静物的生命，画面显得厚实丰满，静物形象直入眼帘，让人领略朴实而宁静的意境。在这些作品中可见贾涤非拥有自己淡定而内在的心灵，外界的风格潮流似乎不能够惊扰他专注的世界，这样的心态在今天的艺术情形中尤其显得难能可贵。

　　吉林艺术学院在油画教学和创作上形成了颇为深厚的积累，也是体现东北地区油画表现性风格的代表。我相信，贾涤非先生的展览在他的母校举办，将有利于研讨和认识地域文化与当代美术、艺术家的个性创造与中国油画发展之间的关系。祝展览圆满成功！

　　Jilin Art Academy hold Solo Exhibition for Prof. Jia Difei to celebrate its 70th Anniversary, as a way to value alumni's accomplishments, enrich campus culture, and expand academic exchange. Since his transferring from Jilin Art Academy to CAFA, Prof. Jia Difei exert all his life to the oil painting teaching in CAFA to prepare lots of talents, and builid bridge for art exchange between two schools. At the Opening time of the exhibition, I take pleasure to congratulate him on behalf of CAFA!

　　Oil Painting in China confronts an era of diversified development since Reform and Opening up. Jia Difei as artist of this era, embrace high aspiration, that is, determined exploration on base of tradition, continuous innovation on art thought and personal contribution on art language. His continuous efforts on oil painting present distinctive style. Since 1980's, he consciously break the customarily realism presentation, to produce works with sharp thought and expression based on his insight of world and reality. His Series on urban people arose wide attention once presented, with its indicating social psychology from external reality, psychologic scene of unconscious and conscious stream from complicated life scene under particular perspective, which, jointly construct a surreal world. On art language, he bravely break custom, to combine modern element and traditional freehand brushwork, portraiting figures of the world with his adept capability, indicating intensive rhythm of modern life by highly conflicting and collision, to open up a characteristic path for expressionism oil painting in China.

　　Jia Difei never put down his nostalgic to nature and land even on present social and urban themes, for which he painted many landscape and still life besides portraiture. The landscape he paint are mostly Northern, plain and daily scene, composing with humanism compassion towards land and nature, especially focused on florescence of Northern woods, thickness of land, and translucence of space, dialogue nature with his plain brushwork and strong color as a straight forward confession. Simultaneously he also has a subtle feel of still life, which presented in his painting as full and rich composition with a suggestion of plain and quiet realm. From this series, one could see a tranquil inner world Jia Difei immerse himself in, which can hardly be interfered by outside fashion. Such a mentality is more than estimable in current art world.

　　Jilin Art Academy formulates deep accumulation on oil painting teaching and practices, to representative of expressionism oil painting in Northeast. I believe, the exhibition of Jia Difai at his Alma Mater, helps discussion and acknowledgment of the relationship between regional culture and contemporary art, personal art practice and Chinese oil painting development. Wish a complete success of exhibition!
